Role: Online Writer, Men’s Fitness

Reports to: Editor, Men’s Fitness

Contract: Full time employed

Base: Home based

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Work as part of a team with editor, publisher and central audience development to develop and deliver ambitious online growth targets for mensfitness.co.uk
Deliver increased levels of original content and optimise existing content for website to achieve agreed targets
Increase digital audience volume and engagement in line with strategy using a data driven approach, working with central audience development team
Utilising performance reporting to identify challenges and opportunities
Regularly monitor and reacting to analytics to optimise performance across all relevant platforms
Identify best practice through competitor analysis and other relevant insight
Utilise systems to optimise affiliate revenue
Manage and upload sponsored content from mag to online where applicable and other commercial-related content across digital channels when required
Planning and creating content for other digital channels and platforms if / when strategy requires
Learning and sharing best practice as part of a Kelsey wide digital audience development team.

Required skills & experience:

Strong all round digital content skills with proven track record of driving digital audience growth and engagement
Expert in Google Analytics, SEO and keyword research.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Passion for health and fitness preferable but not essential
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentation) plus excellent interpersonal skills required to liaise with key departments across the business and other external partners
