Classics World is one of the UK’s biggest classic motoring media brands, comprising a monthly print publication, a weekly newsletter, a website with around 1.5 sessions per year and a YouTube channel with over 43,000 subscribers and around 4 million views a year.

Classics World website and YouTube have tremendous scope for further development, and the video channel especially has been cited as an area for further expansion.

We are seeking a talented and creative videographer/presenter with a passion for classic cars to join our team at Kelsey Media. As a Classics World Videographer, you will be responsible for working alongside the Classics World editorial team and creating visually stunning content that engages our target audience and promotes our brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos in various locations, including racetracks, scenic routes, and automotive events
· When and where required, you may need to present videos, working alongside other Classics World team members
· Collaborate with the marketing, audience, commercial and editorial teams to understand the desired message and creative vision for each video project
· Operate cameras, drones, stabilisers, and other videography equipment to capture dynamic and captivating shots
· Ensure all video footage meets our brand standards and maintains a consistent style and tone
· Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard editing software, adding effects, transitions, music, and sound effects to create engaging final products
· Stay updated on the latest videography techniques, trends, and equipment to improve the quality of our videos continuously
· Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for new video concepts and series
· Manage and organise video assets, maintaining an efficient and easily accessible video library
· Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise videos for different platforms and channels, ensuring they meet technical specifications and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Proven experience as a videographer, preferably with a portfolio showcasing fast car videos or related content
· Proficiency in operating professional-grade video cameras, drones, stabilisers, and other relevant equipment
· Strong knowledge of videography principles, including composition, lighting, and audio capture
· Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
· Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to bring out the excitement and adrenaline of fast cars through video
· Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform, including video optimization, metadata, and best practices for engaging audiences
· Familiarity with YouTube analytics and the ability to analyse video performance and make data-driven decisions to improve content strategy
· Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output and accurate representation of the subject matter
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and take direction from others
· Passion for fast cars, automotive culture, and motorsports
· Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel to different locations for shoots, as required
